Navy SSR/AA Coaching

Preparing Young Aspirants for a Prestigious Career in the Indian Navy

Program Objective

DNDA’s Navy SSR/AA Coaching Program is designed to equip 10+2 qualified students with the academic knowledge, physical fitness, and mental resilience required to join the Indian Navy as Sailors under the Agniveer scheme. The program prepares candidates for all stages of the selection process—Written Exam, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), and Medical Examination.

Training Modules at DNDA

✅ Written Exam Preparation

  • Subject-wise coaching in English, Science, Mathematics, and General Awareness

  • Daily practice sheets, mock tests, and previous year paper analysis

  • Short-trick strategies for numerical aptitude and scientific reasoning

  • Bilingual instruction (English & Hindi) with smart classroom integration

✅ Physical Fitness Training

  • Daily drills for stamina, strength, and agility

  • Coaching for 1.6 km timed runs, push-ups, squats, and sit-ups

  • Nutrition guidance and injury prevention workshops

✅ Personality & Discipline Development

  • Naval etiquette, grooming, and communication skills

  • Motivational sessions with retired naval personnel

  • Group discussions and leadership exercises

  • Duration: 60 minutes

  • Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)

  • Type: Objective (MCQs)

  • Negative Marking: -0.25 per wrong answer

 

Age Criteria (2025 Intake)

  • Candidates must be born between 01 Nov 2003 and 30 Apr 2007

  • Age range: 17½ to 21 years at the time of enrolment

  • Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for SSR/AA entries

 

Medical & Physical Standards

✅ Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

  • 1.6 km run in 6 minutes 30 seconds

  • 20 squats (Uthak Baithak)

  • 10 push-ups

✅ Height & Chest

  • Minimum height: 157 cm

  • Chest: Minimum expansion of 5 cm

  • Weight: Proportionate to height and age

✅ Vision Standards

✅ General Health

  • Free from cardiovascular, neurological, and psychiatric disorders

  • No surgical deformities (e.g., knock knees, flat feet)

  • No history of ear infections or chronic illnesses

  • Must be mentally and physically fit for duties ashore and afloat
