CDS Coaching at DNDA

Program Objective

DNDA’s CDS Coaching Program is designed for graduates aspiring to join the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA), or Officers’ Training Academy (OTA) through the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination conducted by UPSC. Our goal is to equip candidates with the academic precision, physical readiness, and personality traits required to clear the Written Exam, SSB Interview, and Medical Evaluation

Training Modules at DNDA

✅ Written Exam Preparation

  • Subject-wise coaching for English, General Knowledge, and Mathematics

  • Daily practice sets, mock tests, and previous year paper analysis

  • Special focus on current affairs, defence awareness, and static GK

  • Short-trick strategies for arithmetic, algebra, and geometry

✅ SSB Interview Training

  • OIR, PP&DT, TAT, WAT, SRT, SDT, and PIQ modules

  • GTO ground simulations and obstacle training

  • Mock interviews with retired officers and assessors

  • Personality development and confidence-building sessions

✅ Physical & Mental Conditioning

  • Regular fitness drills, yoga, and parade sessions

  • Psychological resilience workshops and stress management

  • Medical readiness guidance and lifestyle coaching

 

CDS Exam Pattern

For IMA, INA, AFA

All papers are objective type, conducted offline in English and Hindi (except English paper).

 

Age Criteria (CDS 2025)

  • IMA: 19–24 years (Unmarried male)

  • INA: 19–22 years (Unmarried male)

  • AFA: 20–24 years (Unmarried or married male; no family accommodation during training)

  • OTA (Men): 19–25 years (Unmarried male)

  • OTA (Women): 19–25 years (Unmarried, widowed, or divorced women without remarriage)

 

Medical & Physical Standards

✅ General Health

  • Free from chronic conditions (e.g., epilepsy, asthma, diabetes)

  • No active infections, hernias, or surgical complications

✅ Height & Weight

Air Force              162.5 cm (Flying), 157.5 cm (Ground Duty)

Relaxations apply for Gorkhas, Garhwalis, Kumaonis, and North-Eastern candidates

✅ Vision Standards

  • Army: 6/6 or 6/9 corrected, CP-III color vision

  • Navy: 6/12 unaided, correctable to 6/6

  • Air Force: 6/6 unaided, myopia ≤ -2.5D, hypermetropia ≤ +3.5D

✅ Other Tests

  • ENT, dental, cardiovascular, neurological, and musculoskeletal exams

  • BMI within normal range (17.5–25)

  • Psychological evaluation for mental resilience

  • Hearing: Must detect forced whisper at 6 meters
